As someone who lived in Vancouver before, I genuinely love the city but then felt very disheartened to see headlines calling it "Vancouver a Zombie City". This project comes from that disheartened feeling, and from the belief that change is needed.

About
There’s no time for dilly dally when you're living on the streets. Every day and night is full of uncertainty, having to be on crisis-mode. NextDoor builds predictability and visibility through information accessibility.
Approach
A sense that no help is coming. Feeling like an outcast, not part of the system or society. Not fully understanding what’s happening, everything feels unstable and uncertain. The first step is finding a calmer state of mind, knowing that you can predict what's coming is the key.
End Note
While this topic has a lot to do with systematic issues, I believe using practical design that communicates to the citizen better would go a long way :)
